Kings of Flint

'The Kings of Flint' chronicles Flint farmers and residents as they revitalize their city, a place abandoned by the automobile industry. In what once served as vacant lots strewn with weeds and trash, grow vegetables and fruits that feed neighborhoods, schools and local restaurants. What's also taking root are ideas that will create jobs and alternative means of sustainability. Masters Dora and Jacky King have created a farm that not only teaches the roots of farming, but the self-discipline of karate to the youth in Beecher, Michigan. Together, this couple has made a name for themselves in the Flint area and are determined to sustain the city with their farm.
